Car parking at the Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary is very limited and parking on nearby streets is restricted.

In common with all hospitals they are very busy places and parking space is often under considerable pressure.

As a healthcare organisation we support all efforts made to reduce car emissions and encourage people to use alternative forms of transport whenever possible, particularly walking and cycling.

A Barrier Car Park system operates both at Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with patients and visitors paying to park in specifically  designated car parks.

When entering through a barrier, please obtain a parking ticket.  Before leaving the hospital please insert the ticket into one of the pay machines.  When you have paid the correct amount due, insert the ticket into the barrier on the exit of the car park.

If you choose to come by car, please remember to bring change for the car park ticket machines.

Charges apply from 8 am to 8 pm

2 – 4 hours - £3.70

4 – 12 hours – (all day parking) £5.00
