Main page content Anchor PointAnchor PointWe provide hospital health services for more than 400,000 people in Huddersfield and Calderdale – so who better to get more involved in the Trust than the people we serve?
If you become a member, you will:
- Have the chance to find out more about your hospitals, the way they are run and the challenges they face
- Help us work with local people to improve the care and experience of patients and their carers
- Elect representatives to the Membership Council.
What will you have to do?
How much time you choose to give to being a member really is up to you. You might just want to be kept up-to-date with developments at your local hospitals – alternatively you might be keen to help us work with the people of Calderdale and Huddersfield to find out what they need from the hospital Trust.
If there are any particular health issues that interest you we hope to plan events so that you can find out more and meet some of the people who provide vital health services to local people.

Membership is free and is open to anyone aged over 16 who:
- Is or has been a patient or carer at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust
