** Due to the high volume of applications we have taken the decision to close our  recruitment for 2017. We will be taking applications again in January 2018.**

As an organisation Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust greatly value the support of our team of volunteers. Covering a wide and diverse area,  the support of the Volunteer Service enables us to offer both comfort and practical assistance across a wide range of services, helping to enhance the environment for both patients and our colleagues.

In carrying out this work our volunteers donate their time and care, commodities immeasurable in today’s busy lifestyle.

The support of volunteers directly helps the organisation achieve the four pillars of our full Trust Vision – “Together we will deliver outstanding compassionate care to the communities we serve”.

Volunteers are welcomed from all backgrounds and provide a valuable service to The Trust,  offering a range of skills that help us deliver a high standard of service, compassion and efficiency across the many services that we offer. In order to maintain a degree of continuity to the patients and staff supported by Volunteers we ask for a minimum commitment of 1/2 day per week for a 12 month period. We understand that each Volunteer will have their own personal commitments and we are keen to accommodate as many varied requests to support as possible.

Due to the high volume of applications we have taken the decision to close our  recruitment for 2017. We will be taking applications again in January 2018.
