Visiting at CHFT from Monday June 20 2022

From Friday 1st July 2022 we ask all visitors coming into our hospitals and our health centres to wear a face mask, unless they are exempt. COVID infections are rising in the community, and our priority remains as ever to continue to protect our patients, visitors and staff. Thank you for helping us all stay safe!

Here is a summary of our visiting guidance. Please read our full visiting guidance here

  • There will be two visiting sessions daily between 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on the majority of our wards.
  • Two people may accompany an adult inpatient and two for a child in the ED department
  • There will be one two hour visiting session for two people visiting loved ones in ICU between midday and 6pm.
  • Virtual visiting continues to be an option.
  • Booking ahead is no longer needed.
  • If in doubt please ask on the ward
  • All visitors will be asked to wear a mask
