Nurse & Elderly Patient

Patients & Visitors

These pages contain information about what you can expect as an inpatient or outpatient and also information about the patient advice and liaison service (PALS), who can offer on-the-spot help, advice or support.

Visitors are very welcome at the hospital. Visiting times might vary from ward to ward, so it is advisable to check them before you arrive.

As rest is often an important part of a patient’s recovery, we ask that no more than two people visit at any one time. We also ask visitors not to make too much noise on the wards as this might disturb other patients.

Children are welcome but should be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.

Breastfeeding mums are very welcome across the whole of our Trust. If you need private facilities please ask a member of staff.
