We are an experienced team of audiologists working across Calderdale and Huddersfield in a variety of acute and community venues with home visits available when necessary.

We provide paediatric and adult audiological and vestibular function assessments to support the ear nose and throat (ENT) consultants.

We offer a comprehensive hearing rehabilitation programme including fitting the latest technology in hearing instruments with digital signal processing, verification and a follow up service.

A tinnitus management  programme is available and a bone anchored hearing aid service as prescribed by the ENT consultants.

Both audiology departments offer a direct access service for GP’s to refer patients for assessment for a hearing aid. Patients must meet certain criteria for this pathway.

Staff in the audiology departments work in close liaison with :

Ear nose and throat staff, The Newborn Hearing Screening Programme, The Yorkshire Cochlear Implant Programme, Calderdale and Huddersfield Specialist Inclusion Services, Social Service Departments.
