Our Clinics

ENT clinics are held between 9am and 5pm at:

  • Calderdale Royal Hospital: Monday - Friday
  • Acre Mill, Huddersfield: Monday - Friday
  • Todmorden Medical Centre: Monday

 We perform a wide variety of outpatient procedures, including:      

EAR

  • Ear microsuction and other wax removal techniques
  • Ear dressing insertions and removal
  • Epley manoeuvre a treatment for BPPV (a condition causing vertigo)
  • Foreign body removal
  • Grommet insertion
  • Tissue biopsy

NOSE

  • Rigid nasendoscopy to examine the nose and treat nasal conditions
  • Nasal cautery for nose bleeds
  • Re-alignment of fractured nasal bones
  • Foreign body removal
  • Tissue biopsy 

THROAT AND NECK

  • Flexible naseondoscopy to examine the nose and throat
  • Tongue tie release
  • Laryngectomy speech valve changes
  • Tracheostomy tube changes
  • Head and neck wound care
  • Skin abscess drainage
  • Botox injections

Due to the specialist nature of our clinics we rely on support from Outpatient Nurses.

At CHFT we are very fortunate to have a team of experienced nurses and health care assistants who are dedicated to caring for ENT patients and assisting the Doctors in assessing and treating patients.
