Cancer Quality of Life

The Cancer Quality of Life Survey is a national survey run by NHS England. People in England are invited to complete the survey 18 months after a cancer diagnosis.

The aim of the survey is to find out how quality of life may have changed for people diagnosed with cancer, to understand whether care is working well or not and if any new services are needed.

NHS England want to understand about the longer-term effects that cancer may have on people and their quality of life, this will help us build up a full picture of all the different ways people are experiencing life after a cancer diagnosis.

A company called Quality Health send out the survey invitations and collect answers from people who have experienced cancer are feeling and comparing their answers with information about their cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Completing the survey helps the NHS improve the way we support people to live as long and as well as possible.
