Our Chair, Helen Hirst, has agreed to temporarily take on the role of interim chair at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Helen will continue to fulfil her responsibilities as Chair of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust whilst taking on this additional role in the short- term.
Prior to becoming our chair, Helen was the Chief Officer of Bradford District and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group. She worked in Bradford for almost 30 years and is in an ideal position to support the Trust until a new chair has been recruited.
We have an experienced group of non-executive directors, including Karen Heaton, Deputy Chair, who will be in place to ensure our Trust continues to deliver quality care, with good governance arrangements firmly in place, and excellent support for all colleagues.
