Our Chief Executive Owen Williams received a fantastic e-mail this week from a patient following a procedure. In it they shared their praise for many of the colleagues who looked after them:
“Can I just say what a fantastic endoscopist Julie Hooper is. She is a credit to the NHS and her professionalism, personality, and caring approach put me at ease immediately. I never felt any pain discomfort or embarrassment…it was plain sailing from start to finish.
“Special thanks and praise to Carrie-Anne who was so warm and friendly on my arrival and helping to put me at ease and to the nurses in the theatre Wendy Bassinder and Georgina Ayres who were wonderful kind and caring ladies. Finally, a special thanks to Carol Ellis in the recovery suite for an awesome cup of tea, tasty biscuits, and a pleasant chat. You are all fabulous!
