Last week saw the Biochemistry team go live with new laboratory analysers at CRH. The successful go live was the result of the whole team pulling together, including helping with the implementation, validation and verification, locating suitable samples to test, covering additional shifts and much more.
Pathology Clinical Director, Anu Rajgopal said: "Thank you to all our biochemistry staff who worked really hard to ensure that the swap over to new laboratory analysers at CRH went smoothly. These will give us the resilience required to support timely patient management."
Blood Sciences Laboratory Manager, Hayley Baker, said: "I would like to say a huge thank you to each and every single one of the team who in their own way have all played a big part in supporting the go live at CRH.
"You are an amazing team, and its lovely to see you all help and support each other."
"It will make a huge difference to the wards and clinics at CRH not having to transport samples across to HRI when there is analyser downtime or breakdown at CRH which has been quite frequent over the past few years with aging equipment”
