As part of our work to support our local hospices, next week Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and our Outpatients Department at Acre Mills in Lindley will become local donation hubs for The Kirkwood.
Our staff, patients and visitors can bring their unwanted items in to donate to a good cause, rather than having to make a separate trip to a charity shop.
The team will take anything you'd normally donate - so clothes, household items, pots, pans, toys, shoes etc. They'll also take electrical items and small pieces of household furniture.
There will be donation points in the main entrances at HRI and Acre Mills Outpatients. You can drop off between 9am and 5pm when staff from The Kirkwood will be on hand.
We will also support Overgate in Halifax in the future, so watch this space.
