Plantar Heel Pain

What is Plantar Heel Pain/Fascia Pain?

The Plantar fascia is a band of collagen tissue that connects between your heel and your toes, supporting the arch of your foot. Just like a joint, the Plantar Fascia is also subject to becoming irritated, this is known as Plantar Heel Pain/Fascia Pain.

Typical symptoms of Plantar Heel Pain/Fascia Pain are:

  • Pain is much worse when you start walking after sleeping or resting
  • Pain feels better during exercise, but returns after resting

When to seek advice
