Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust’s community health services for adults have been rated Good overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), following its latest inspection.
All five key areas – safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led – were rated Good, with inspectors recognising improvements in the effectiveness of care since the previous inspection.
The report highlights consistently high levels of patient satisfaction, with 96% positive feedback, and describes staff as kind, compassionate and respectful.
Inspectors also praised the Trust’s strong community model, including services that support people to receive care at home, reduce hospital admissions and improve independence.
Leaders were described as visible and supportive, with staff reporting a positive culture where they feel able to speak up and contribute to improvements.
