Academic Background  I am a gynaecologist with accredited special interest in Urogynaecology, endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery. I qualified from Damascus University in 2004 with an MD. I underwent a surgical and urological training in Northampton and South Yorkshire for 4 years. I completed a structured training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for 7 years. I underwent an accredited advanced training in Urogynaecology and pelvic floor surgery working in a tertiary referral centre in Sheffield dealing with complex care. I also did an accedited advanced training in benign gynaecology both open and laparoscopic. I am very active at the medical education and I am an RCOG educational supervisor. I also have an interest in research and I have presented at serveral national and international meetings.
