The Appointments centre (01484 355370) and ask for an Advice Line appointment or to speak to a Rheumatology Nurse if you have the following symptoms:

  1. Occurrence of worsening back pain AND stiffness, improves with activity and worse with rest. (NOT associated to trauma, fever, pain radiating down legs, urinary or faecal incontinence-please contact emergency department if this occurs).
