The Appointments centre (01484 355370) and ask for an Advice Line appointment or to speak to a Rheumatology Nurse if you have the following symptoms:

  1. Occurrence of NEW onset joint pain and swelling, this will usually be in the small joints of hands and feet, or wrists and ankles AND the pain does not settle with rest and/or simple analgesics.
