About the Service
Clinical Health Psychology provides specialist psychological support for adults and children living with physical health conditions listed below. Living with a health condition can affect many aspects of life, including emotional wellbeing, relationships, confidence and day-to-day life. Psychological difficulties can also have an impact on physical health.
Our team includes clinical psychologists, trainee clinical psychologists, counsellors and psychotherapists who are trained to understand the emotional and psychological impact of health problems. We offer talking therapies and psychological support to help people manage these difficulties and improve their wellbeing.
We work closely with medical and surgical team to support psychological care alongside physical healthcare.
