Vulval/Vaginal pain

It can be common to experience vaginal and vulval pain in pregnancy, and this could be for many reasons. Sometimes the weight of the baby can cause a heavy feeling within the vagina, other reasons could include pelvic girdle pain and vulval varicose veins.

It is helpful to identify what makes the pain better and worse, so that you can inform your GP, midwife or physiotherapist.

Please find below some videos/leaflets for further information
