Pelvic Floor Exercises

Pelvic floor exercises are important to do during pregnancy and after the birth of your baby.

Below is a leaflet and video explaining how to do them.

It can take 3-4 months to build up your pelvic floor strength, and for any symptoms of pelvic floor problems to improve.

It is important to make pelvic floor exercises part of your daily routine – just like brushing your teeth. It should be a life-long exercise that you do, as these muscles get weaker without regular exercise.
