Eduroam

eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.

eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.

Further information about eduroam is available from: www.eduroam.org

Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust is a participating member of the eduroam service, an international scheme which allows people visiting other participating academic sites to use their home institution’s username and password to access a range of services. As a minimum these services include access to the internet using the participating institution’s wireless network.

At Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust, access to the eduroam service is currently limited to use of the wireless network.

Please note that by using the eduroam service all users must agree to abide by the acceptable use policies of JRS.
