Finding your way to Maternity services at Calderdale Royal Hospital

Women and families coming to Maternity services at Calderdale Royal Hospital (CRH) will need to use the Hospital Entrance which is accessed from our A&E car park.

Please note that the Hospital Entrance is separate to the A&E Department Entrance

You will need to use the lifts immediately on the left of this entrance, up to the second floor to Maternity services (including the Labour Ward, Maternity Assessment Centre and Antenatal Clinic for scans).

Wheelchairs are located next to the lifts if you need to borrow one for coming to the department.

You will be able to drop off in the A&E car park (which is a maximum of 20 minutes), before moving your car to the Multi-Storey Car Park which is located off Dryclough Lane.

You can still access the Birth Centre from the Main Hospital Entrance.

To help you know where to find Maternity services, including Antenatal Clinic, Labour Ward, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Antenatal Day Unit and Maternity Assessment Centre, please watch this short video.

There will also be signs up from the lifts to help you know where to go.

Once the new Multi-Storey Car Park opens, the Women and Children’s car park will close as we will soon start construction on our new hospital building which will be located in this area.

Thank you for your understanding.
