Macmillan Buddies

Macmillan Buddies is a peer-to-peer support programme run by Macmillan Cancer Support, connecting people affected by cancer with trained volunteers who have lived experience of the condition. Buddies offer a friendly, understanding, and confidential space to share concerns, ask questions, and receive guidance from someone who truly understands what it’s like to live with cancer. This support can be especially helpful for those who feel isolated, are newly diagnosed, or simply want to speak to someone who has been through a similar journey. Buddies can provide emotional support, practical tips, and encouragement, helping people feel more confident, informed, and connected.
